Cookie Notice
This site sets only the cookies it needs to work, plus one you can choose at checkout. There are no analytics, advertising or social media cookies, so there is no cookie banner to click through.
1 The cookies this site sets
| Name | What it does | Type | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | Keeps your session while you browse: the courses in your cart and the security token that protects the checkout form. It holds a random identifier, not your details. | Strictly necessary | Until you close the browser |
| buyer | “Remember me”: stores the details you typed at checkout (name, email, company, billing address) in your browser so the form is filled in next time. Set only if you tick the box at checkout. | Your choice (consent) | 180 days |
| supchat_v | Links your browser to your chat conversation, so you see our replies when you come back. Set only when you send your first message in the chat. It holds a random identifier. | Strictly necessary for the chat you started | 365 days |
| supchat_k | Keeps our staff signed in to the tool they use to answer the chat. It is never set for customers or visitors. | Staff only | 365 days |
All of these cookies are set by this site only, sent only to this site, and cannot be read by scripts on the page.
2 Removing the “remember me” cookie and others
To make the site forget your checkout details, leave the “remember me” box unticked at your next checkout: the buyer cookie is then deleted. You can also delete it, or any other cookie of this site, in your browser settings at any time. If you delete PHPSESSID, your cart is emptied; if you delete supchat_v, the chat starts a new conversation and you no longer see the old one.
3 Outside servers your browser contacts
Some parts of the pages are loaded directly from other companies’ servers. They set no cookies on this site, but like any server they receive your IP address and basic browser details when your browser asks them for a file:
- Google Fonts — the typefaces of the site are loaded from Google’s servers.
- The stock-photo library’s image servers (Pexels) — the photographs, including the picture in the chat window.
- jsDelivr, a public content delivery network — the small payment card icons at the foot of each page.
The country shown next to visits in our security log is looked up on our side, from the server: your browser does not contact that service. The secure payment page belongs to our payment service provider and sets its own cookies under its own notice once you reach it.
